With the loss of our son in Iraq, I began a different kind
of journey....one that has been very personal in nature. During the month after learning of Bill's death, I sat down and
wrote my thoughts. I found the process to be therapeutic. Over time, I have continued to record my thoughts as I work my way
through the grieving process.
Believing that it is important for all Americans to remember our fallen soldiers and to understand
and appreciate the sacrifices that are being made by our military families, I offer my writings on this page.
